GPS Base Station Information

Our Trimble 4000SSE base station receiver is located atop the High Point Public Library and is part of the NC Geodetic Survey Base Station Network and the National CORS network .

This site is accessible through Internet browsers and FTP clients. The files are stored in a .zip format. In addition, each of our files includes an HP prefix followed by the date and hour that the data was collected in GPS (UTC) time. For example, a file named HP011217.ZIP would have been collected on January 12, 1999 at the 13th hour of that day (EST is -4 from UTC, except during Daylight Savings Time). The times specified in the FTP folder are given in Eastern Standard Time. Files from previous years are stored in subdirectories in the current year's folder.
