This site is only accessible through Internet browsers and FTP clients. Dial-up Networking and Telnet (Hyper-Terminal, Pro Comm) programs will NOT access this server. The files are stored in a .zip format. In addition, each of our files includes an HP prefix followed by the date and hour that the data was collected in GPS (UTC) time. For example, a file named HP011217.ZIP would have been collected on January 12, 1999 at the 13th hour of that day (EST is -4 from UTC, except during Daylight Savings Time). The times specified in the FTP folder are given in Eastern Standard Time. The files are retained for a period of 6 Months before being overwritten by new data.
